ABOUT
WORKING TOGETHER
Here you'll find information on what a collaboration could look like and how we can work together to tell impressive visual stories about your projects. Every project is unique, of course, but this will give you a general overview of the steps involved and a potential timeline.
01 BRIEFING
I prefer to discuss each project directly on-site with the relevant parties. Depending on the situation and the property, this can also be done over the phone. If we discuss it by phone, it would be helpful if you could provide a floor plan and some photos of the building or rooms. This will help me better assess technical aspects like light conditions and viewing angles.
The client's needs and timeline always come first for me. Whether it's vacant buildings, apartments, or rooms, or properties still in operation—there's always a solution that works. I'm excited to take on the challenges ahead!
02 PLANNING
Since every property and client is unique, each shoot requires careful planning. Factors such as the location, surroundings, lighting, and weather conditions must all be considered. It's equally important to agree in advance on the purpose of the images, the desired style, and the story they should tell. Coordination between all parties involved is second nature to me, and I'm happy to take care of it all if needed.
03 SHOOTING DAY
AT THE BEGINNING OF A SHOOT, I USUALLY TAKE A TOUR OF THE BUILDING TO CLARIFY WHICH ROOMS I’M ALLOWED TO PHOTOGRAPH, WHAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED, AND IF THERE ARE ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS. DURING THE SHOOT, I TYPICALLY WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND DON'T NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE CLIENT, UNLESS REQUESTED. DEPENDING ON THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT, THE TIME REQUIRED ON-SITE CAN VARY. FOR EXAMPLE, IF A BUILDING NEEDS TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED FROM A 360° ANGLE, AN ENTIRE DAY SHOULD BE ALLOCATED, AS SUNLIGHT MUST ALSO BE CONSIDERED. FOR INTERIOR SHOTS, SUCH AS THOSE OF A SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE, 3-4 HOURS IS USUALLY SUFFICIENT. HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES TO HELP WITH PLANNING:
EXAMPLE SINGLE-FAMILY HOME
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR - 1 DAY
EXTERIOR - 1 DAY
INTERIOR - 3-4H
EXAMPLE MULTI-UNIT BUILDING (4-6 UNITS)
INSIDE AND OUTSIDE - 2 DAYS
OUTSIDE - 1 DAY
INSIDE - 1 DAY
EXAMPLE MULTI-UNIT BUILDING (6-12 UNITS)
INSIDE AND OUTSIDE - 2-3 DAYS
OUTSIDE - 1 DAY
INSIDE - 1-2 DAY
COMMERCIAL, OFFICE, BUSINESS, ETC. upon REQUEST
04 EDITING
All photos are captured in RAW format and then personally refined and edited by me using Adobe's image editing software. Each image is carefully reviewed, necessary retouching is applied, and the editing process is tailored to match the style of the respective client. The typical processing time is two working weeks, but express delivery is available upon request.
At the end, you will receive all images, edited and delivered in the following formats:
-
Portrait and landscape orientations (depending on usage and platform)
-
JPEG format or as agreed
-
Edited, full-resolution, web-optimized, and optimized for social media
The editing is done according to the client’s preferences—whether clear & pure, retro, warm, or cool—your wishes are always taken into consideration.
The final images will be sent via download link or, upon request, on a USB drive.
05 USAGE RIGHTS
I believe it’s important to handle administrative tasks and legal considerations in a straightforward way, without putting any time or quantity limitations on my clients. As per our agreement, you will receive unrestricted rights to use the images. The only limitation is the transfer of images to third parties or companies, which must always be DISCUSSED with me first.
NOTE
I’m often asked for recommendations for web designers or social media managers, and I’m happy to recommend Oyster Marketing by Anja. With years of experience in digital marketing, she’s a talented designer and a great resource for creating and implementing advertising materials.
